TTD, Inc. Building lasting relationships |
|
Dear Interested
Employer: Up until recently I
have been the owner and sales and marketing manager for TTD, Inc. TTD, Inc.
has been the exclusive distributor of Skagerak Denmark A/S products in the
USA and Canada since October of 2001. Within the past five
years I have brought the dealer base of Skagerak Denmark from zero to over
one hundred thirty dealers within the territory, gaining sales from zero to
over $700,000.00, in 2005. As sales and
marketing manager, I have developed a monthly e-newsletter to keep my brand
on the forefront of the dealers, designers and potential dealer’s
minds. It combines new product updates, marketing ideas, and press
information to keep all users of my brand up to date and in touch.
Other duties tackled as sales and marketing manager include all tradeshow
preparations, from choosing the correct shows and products to preparing a
show budget and booth design. Still other duties include researching
trade and consumer publications, websites and other media sources to
determine where advertising dollars should be utilized and creating yearly
budgets from sales projections to pay for advertising programs. Press
releases play a vital role in any sales and marketing department since these
are the best way to effectively create free advertising for your
product. I have extensive experience
in creating effective press releases which have allowed my product to be seen
in nationally distributed magazines and on television at no cost. As sales and
marketing manager the most important skill I used was my ability to establish
lasting relationships with dealers and sales representatives. The effective management of your working
relationships, whether it is your sales staff or your dealer base, will
determine how successful you will be as a sales and marketing manager. You need to be able to communicate
effectively and efficiently with many types of personalities making certain
to treat each individual differently to pull their best effort to the
surface. I realize I could go
on and on regarding all my duties as owner, sales manager of TTD, Inc.,
however I would like to point out that I also have had over twelve years
experience within the retail and wholesale side of the ski industry. The last four years working as a manager of
technical sales for Nordica USA. I am searching for a sales and marketing
position within the Casual Furniture Industry or with a small to medium sized
progressive company that is in need of a hard working, progressive thinker
who is capable of pioneering a customer base from zero and leading a sales
and marketing team to success. At your request I
would be happy to forward samples of my e-newsletter, press releases or sales
programs for your review. Please review the
resume I have posted on this site. Thank you for your
time and I look forward to getting an opportunity to speak with you regarding
my role in building your brand. Best regards, Phil Swett |
